Second Round

In the Second Round of the Competition, the performer is asked to present a 40 minute recital that showcases the very best of who they are. For example, if you have the opportunity to give just one performance to tell the world who you are, what will you play? If your area of expertise is Russian Romantic music, you needn’t limit the recital to just this type of music, but if that is your strength be sure to show this.

If your specialty is Contemporary music, present a program that gives you and the music you play a chance to shine.

If you champion Early Music, you may include one or more pieces from this era with Baroque bow and/or Baroque tuning.

If you need special lighting or electronics for any work, all efforts will be made to accommodate this.
